Shyft ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Shyft mobile application and website at shyft.lol. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

• Account Information: Email address (for authentication via Privy), display name, bio, and profile picture you choose to provide.
• Wallet Information: A Solana wallet is created automatically for you via Privy. We do not store your private keys — they are managed securely by Privy's infrastructure.
• On-Chain Data: Posts, messages, reactions, follows, and community memberships are stored on the Solana blockchain and are publicly visible by design.
• Encrypted Messages: Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read them.
• Device Information: We may collect basic device info (OS version, device model) for debugging and performance purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To enable social features (posting, messaging, following, communities)
• To process on-chain transactions on your behalf
• To improve app performance and fix bugs
• To communicate important updates about the service

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Privy: For authentication and wallet management (privy.io/privacy)
• Solana Blockchain: Public on-chain data (posts, profiles) is visible to anyone by the nature of blockchain technology

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure key management via Privy, and end-to-end encryption for direct messages. Private keys never leave Privy's secure enclave.

5. Your Rights

• You can update or delete your profile information at any time
• You can request account deletion by contacting us
• Note: On-chain data (posts, transactions) is immutable and cannot be deleted from the blockchain

6. Children's Privacy

Shyft is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date.
